Easy Cinnamon Glazed Donuts

This easy cinnamon glazed donut recipe is the perfect sweet treat dessert!

  • 16.3 oz. Canned Biscuits
  • 1.5 cups Vegetable Oil
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Hot Water
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract


  1. Pour your oil in a medium frying pan and heat on medium high heat.

  2. Lay the biscuits on a flat surface and use the shot glass (or small round item) to create a hole in the middle. Keep your middle pieces and put them to the side.

  3. Use one of the small center pieces to test in the oil to be sure it's hot enough. The oil should be hot in order to fry the donuts correctly.

  4. Fry all of the large biscuit cut outs for about a 1-2 minutes per side or until golden brown.

  5. Place the finished fried biscuits on a plate lined with paper towel to soak up the excess oil.

  6. Continue the last step until all of the biscuit pieces (small ones included are finished).

  7. While the donuts are resting on the paper towel lined plate, place a cooling rack on a parchment or foil lined baking pan.

  8. In a medium bowl whisk your powdered sugar, cinnamon, hot water, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  9. Now add your cornstarch to the cinnamon glaze mixture and whisk until completely combined.

  10. Use tongs to dip the donuts in the cinnamon glaze. You want to be sure it's completely covered. Place the glazed donuts on the cooling rack so the excess glaze can run off and the donuts can dry evenly.

  11. Let the donuts sit for 10 minutes and then enjoy!
