In a frying pan heat half an inch of vegetable oil over medium low heat.
While your oil heats remove the skin from your salmon (if it’s not skinless) and cut into 4 pieces.
Generously season EACH side of your salmon filets with 1/2 tsp garlic powder, onion powder, 1/4 tsp paprika, sea salt and pepper.
Gently place 2 salmon filets in the hot oil. Add your spring of lemon thyme (or regular thyme with fresh lemon juice) to the pan as well and let the filets sear for about 5 minutes on each side or until there’s a golden crisp sear on each side.
Place on a paper towel lined plate to allow the excess oil to drain from the fish. Top with your diced scallions and enjoy!
