Trolls Painted Pumpkins

Happy October lovely people! October means Halloween and Halloween means my annual painted pumpkins reveal. This year I was fairly stumped on what characters to re-create for my pumpkin decor this year. Then it hit me my girls are currently addicted to the Trolls movies. They’re late bloomers in the Trolls territory, but lucky for me because that’s what inspired this year’s Trolls Painted Pumpkins theme.

While we’re on the subject of October and Halloween- is anyone else as excited a I am for the “BER” months? You know, September through December all end in “BER” which makes them the BER months. September through December is the happiest time of year for me. Kicking off with my birthday and then directly into Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Another reason is because this is when I’m at my highest level of craftiness. I want to create and decorate all the wonderful holiday themed things. From Trolls Painted Pumpkins to front porch decor, it truly makes me so happy for the holiday season.

This year I took a few pictures of the items used in addition to before and after photos. This way those of you interested in finding your crafty side can get an idea of what’s necessary to create these same Trolls Painted Pumpkins.I even put together a quick video showing the different parts of the pumpkin painting process.

I chose Princess Poppy, Branch, Biggie, and Guy Diamond for this particular project. I originally wanted to make Cooper but couldn’t find a cheap green hat to match and didn’t want to buy more spray paint. Jordyn and Riley are both going to be Princess Poppy for Halloween this year so the theme is also very appropriate. I’m going to start thinking of next year’s pumpkins ideas soon too, because I like being prepared. Ha!

P.S. Did I mention my girls love how the pumpkins turned out? They tell me how cute the pumpkins are everyday. Naturally it makes me heart extra happy when they’re happy.
