Monte Cristo Sandwich

Christmas is a few days away which means ham is likely to be on your menu. Whether it’s a dinner for one or four, ham is a Christmas dish favorite. One of my favorite things about ham is the dishes you can make with the leftovers. From soups to sandwiches the options are endless. One of my favorite sandwiches is a classic Monte Cristo stacked with fresh slices of ham and turkey too! This sweet and savory sandwich is guaranteed to be a meal anyone in your home will love.

Here we are, 7 months into the year 2020, and I’m sharing homemade cocktail recipes because COVID-19 still has the local bars closed. Well, a few of them opened for about 2 days, then Covid-19 numbers spiked and they were closed again. Sigh. Anywho, even if the bars were open, who doesn’t love a good homemade cocktail recipe? Not only are you in the comfort and safeness of your own home, but it’s cost efficient too. This delicious Peach Ginger Mojito recipe only requires 6 ingredients! Yes, SIX. Chicken Noodle Soup

September 23, 2019 Comments : 4

It’s officially the first day of fall and I couldn’t be happier. Fall is hands down my favorite season. What is there not to love about it? The crisp fresh air, beautiful orange, red and yellow leaves, apple cider, pumpkin spice, hoodie weather, etc. I could go on for days. Unfortunately, we live in the south so half of my fall list means absolutely nothing. (insert hysterical cryin face here) Despite the summer weather outside, one of my absolute favorite parts of this season is soup is back in full swing. My family likes to eat soup year round, but we definitely kick it up a notch once fall has arrived. One of my go to easy soups for my family is my homemade chicken noodle soup. It’s full of fresh ingredients and is seriously so easy to make.Read More

Chicken & Grilled Onion Quesadilla

August 22, 2019 Leave a Comment

When we begin a new week we at the very least can look forward to taco Tuesday. Who doesn’t love tacos or an entire day dedicated to said tacos? Exactly. But what if we can extend taco Tuesday leftovers into quesadilla Wednesday or Thursday? (Although any day is quesadilla day.) I know it doesn’t have the same ring to it, but I promise it’s equally as delicious. You will still get all the same delicious ingredients as your tacos but on a larger and cheesier scale. Sounds like a winning situation, right? Read More

5 healthy meal prep recipes final

Happy Tuesday everyone! I have been meal prepping for about 3 years and have had multiple requests for healthy meal prep recipe ideas. Two weeks ago I joined a 5 week challenge by Flozell’s Fitness. (Click on the link to check her and her next challenge out!) In those two weeks I have lost over 11 lbs. (Yes, eleven pounds! I’m ecstatic) And there hasn’t been any magic to it. The only thing I have changed is what I eat, how often/much I eat, and working out in the process.Read More

Where are all of my salmon lovers? Go ahead, raise your hand nice and high because I definitely am! Salmon is a favorite in my household. We’re not picky people on how the salmon is cooked either. We love to eat it baked, pan-fried, in foil packets, etc. However, this honey garlic salmon is one of our favorites because of it serves as a dinner and meal prepped dish. Read More

Bacon Kale & Mushroom Pasta

bacon kale and mushroom pasta

Valentine’s day is less than 2 weeks away. I’m still not sure how we got to February so quickly but here we are. Every year on Valentine’s Day my husband prepares a delicious dinner for me and this year will be no different. My favorite Valentine’s Day dinners usually always consist of pasta and cheese. Who the first person was to prepare pasta and cheese together deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. Okay, well maybe not a peace prize, but they deserve something! Pasta and cheese are two of my food weaknesses and they’re two stars of this Bacon Kale and mushroom pasta.Read More
