I’m proud to collaborate with more than 30 Black recipe developers as we celebrate Black History Month 2022. This Virtual Potluck explores Black food through the lens of Afrofuturism. Our collaboration of recipes explores the intersection of the Black diaspora via culture, future, geopolitics, imagination, liberation, culture, and technology.

Black History Month 2022 is here which means it’s time to celebrate everything and everyone Black. As the poet Theresa tha S. O. N. G. B. I. R. D  so eloquently stated “Black is an adjective, adverb, color, and noun.” For this years Black History Month I’ve joined a collaboration with Eat The Culture to contribute a recipe centered around Afrofuturism. I decided to create this beautiful and refreshingly delicious Dragon Fruit Pineapple Rum Punch. It’s a dose of South Africa meets the Caribbean and I can’t wait for you all to try it!
