Spring is finally in the air! The weather has finally started to match the season here in Montana. This means I’ve been cooking and serving up lighter recipes and dishes for the family. This is the second green vegetable recipe I have gotten my oldest daughter to enjoy eating. I had to trick her and tell her it tastes like broccoli, but it paid off because she loved it! This lemon garlic asparagus recipe pairs perfect with my Honey Garlic Salmon. To complete the meal make a pot of rice or light whipped mashed potatoes. I promise you will love it!Read More
Where are all of my salmon lovers? Go ahead, raise your hand nice and high because I definitely am! Salmon is a favorite in my household. We’re not picky people on how the salmon is cooked either. Happy first week of March! Spring is right around the corner and I can’t wait. It was a high of -12 this past Saturday here in Montana. Yes, you read that correctly. One of my favorite snack foods is my sweet chili snap peas recipe. It’s easy to whip up, it tastes delicious, and it’s a guilt free snack.Read More
Joy is defined as: “a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.” I realized the other day that food has been at the center of most joyful occasions for me. Whether it was during one of our family holiday parties, celebrating a birthday, or just a casual Friday evening, food remained a constant at all of it.

Once I moved to Montana to be with my then boyfriend (now husband) I quickly realized how much I not only liked eating food, but how much I loved cooking it. Fast forward to present day and I look forward to creating my own delicious recipes week by week to share with all of you on my blog. I like to say “food is how I spread joy” in this world.Read More
