Being a stay at home Mommy has been so much fun so far. As much fun as it has been, it has also been exhausting. Exhausting in the sense of not having enough hours in the day to party it up with the little one, and still find time to be super woman and do everything in the house I planned to do the day before. Don’t get me wrong, I have A LOT more time to do housework now that I am not working outside of the home anymore. But, GEEZ does the day fly by. The load of laundry, sink of dishes, and vacuuming I wanted to do probably didn’t get done. Well, I usually get 1 of the 3 done each day. So what I decided to do was make a schedule to help keep me on track. It is a “daily, weekly, and monthly” schedule to see if it would help bring some order to my life.
Oh-my-goodness. Why did it take me so long to come up with this idea?! Now that I have a daily breakdown of what needs to be done, spaced out over an entire weeks time-frame, I stay on track and get SO much more done around the house. The best part is, I still get to spend so much time with Jordyn while feeling productive in the process. It’s a win-win situation. I figured I would share what my schedule looks like just in case you want to give the idea a try yourself. You may not be busy with a baby at home, but the craziness of school, work, and everyday life makes life just as hectic.
P.S.- this was just another way for me to make a list I can cross things off of. You know, since I’m addicted to lists 🙂
