What is better than sharing a meal with your military Dad who often travels for work? Being a military family means spending a lot of time away from family, but especially your military member. One way we’re Honoring Heroes, this Memorial Day is by creating lifelong memories between my husband and daughter, over delicious food. Bonding over a meal is the ultimate way to say thank you and we love you. Thankfully, Conagra has all of your Barbeques/Grilling food needs in order to celebrate such an occasion too! And to take it a step further, Conagra is making a donation to Operation Homefront to support military families.

You can find all of your Conagra brand necessities for a meal at your local Walmart. Walmart makes it easy to use its online pickup system to get everything you need in an organized and timely manner. Being able to order my groceries online and pick them up without getting out of the car is a huge help.

My 6-year-old loves a good chicken nugget meal. This is why I serve Banquet® Chicken Breast Nuggets with a side of fruit or green beans for a meal the whole family will love. Not only are Banquet Chicken Breast Nuggets delicious, but they contain no preservatives, no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and no added hormones**. Making this the main course of the “daddy and me” meal makes preparation easy and quick.

If you’re like my entire family you enjoy a good condiment to dip your chicken nuggets in. You can never go wrong with Hunt’s® Tomato Ketchup. This classic ketchup is full of flavor and so delicious to dip your nuggets, tots, fries, and more.

My go-to side vegetable for the Banquet Chicken Breast Nuggets is Birds Eye® Broccoli. One 52 oz bag of Birds Eye Broccoli Florets lasts for multiple meals in our home. And for added quickness, I buy frozen because frozen broccoli can be prepared in less than 10 minutes on a stovetop or in a microwave. To step the broccoli flavor up a notch, drizzle with Parkay® Squeeze! It has a fresh and creamy taste. This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is conagra-broccoli-Parkay-1-1-1024x576.png

What is a meal without dessert? Whether you keep it simple with fruit or enjoy a slice of pie, Reddi-wip® Original Whipped Topping only contains 15 calories per serving with no artificial flavors or sweeteners. Which is great news for people like my husband who need to stay on top of their diet and fit level. Real cream is the #1 ingredient so there’s no guessing what the main ingredient is in your Reddi-wip whipped topping.

This Memorial Day will be one my husband and daughter remember for many years to come. Being a military family isn’t always easy, but we’re so thankful for the moments that count, and a husband/father who deserves the honor!

Very nice article, I’m now going to get some nuggets and broccoli.
Also very touching at the end. 🙂
