Kids Ghost Strawberries

October 8, 2020 Leave a Comment

October means it’s the time for creative and fun Halloween snacks. If you follow me on Instagram or Jordyn’s YouTube channel then you caught Jordyn’s newest episode of “Cooking with Jordyn“. On this recent episode she showed you how to make these fun Halloween themed kids ghost strawberries!

The recipe is simple to create, fun to make, and delicious to eat. Multiple people asked me to share the recipes for Jordyn’s cooking videos on here. With the exact measurements they can recreate these delicious treats for their kids or loved ones. I also wanted to be sure we’re being inclusive to those who may be hearing impaired. Everyone deserves to take part in the fun Jordyn brings to us every other week.

One of my favorite parts of this kids ghost strawberries recipe is how few ingredients are needed and how creative you can get with it. If you prefer to add some Halloween themed sprinkles or drizzles to the strawberries, go for it! If you want to dye your white chocolate with fun Halloween colors like orange or purple, do it! Whatever you do just be sure to have fun doing it. Now let’s get started on the ingredients needed for this kids ghost strawberries recipe.

  2. In a microwave safe bowl combine your white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in .30 second intervals, mixing together after each interval, until melted and smooth.

  3. Carefully stick the long toothpicks or mini kabob sticks in the top of the strawberries. Dip and cover them well in the melted white chocolate and lay on a wax paper covered dish/pan.

  4. After the strawberries have been dipped, add two mini chocolate chips to the bottom of the strawberry. Be gentle so the white chocolate doesn't come off.
