Jordyn's Homemade Hot Chocolate

There’s nothing like a cup of hot chocolate on a cool fall evening or cold winter night. However, if you haven’t tasted delicious hot chocolate until you have tried Jordyn’s Homemade Hot Chocolate recipe. This recipe is creamy, rich, and made with love. If you didn’t catch her “how to” YouTube video or IGTV video yesterday, click on either video to watch, like and/or comment!

Jordyn's Homemade Hot Chocolate

The best part of this recipe is you can adjust the taste as you go. For example, if you’re a person who enjoys a much sweeter hot chocolate experience, you can add more chocolate chips and/or sweetened condensed milk. If you want only a hint of sweetness, omit the sweetened condensed milk and add your chocolate chips in increments. However, if you’re wanting to make Jordyn’s homemade hot chocolate the same way she does then you’re looking at the sweeter side.

  2. Add the milk chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and cinnamon to the warm milk mixture in the pot. Use a cooking spoon to gently mix the ingredients together until all of the chocolate has melted and ingredients are combined.

  3. If you would like your hot chocolate a little thicker you will keep stirring and mixing for another 3-5 minutes or so.

  4. Use a soup spoon to add the hot chocolate to your mug. Top with marshmallows and drizzle with chocolate syrup or sprinkle with cinnamon. Enjoy!
