Jordyn is a 2nd grader! We completed our first full year of virtual school, and although it had its challenges we made it through! I say we because being a teacher while also parenting a toddler isn’t the easiest job in the world LOL. However, as with everything, there were also pros like being able to wake up late. Jordyn could pick out her outfit to wear whatever we wanted. And we all we able to enjoy each other‘s company. Riley especially loved having Jordyn was home every day to play with and hang out. They are truly best friends and it’s adorable. Jordyn will be going back to school in person come fall and she’s looking forward to it as much as we are. I know she misses her friends and teachers.

Did I mention she completed 1st grade on a honor roll, and she got the award for “most likely to become a teacher”? In addition, she moved up to 2nd grade level reading halfway through the school year. To say we are proud of her is an understatement. It is still hard to believe Kris and I have a 2nd grader who is turning seven years old in less than a month. We will be celebrating her school accomplishments, as well as, her birthday this weekend and for the next few weeks. Part of those celebrations will be in Florida and Las Vegas. Have I mentioned I want to be like my kids when I grow up? Ha!

I’m looking forward to these upcoming years watching Jordyn continue to excel at everything she does. Especially in school. She is so incredibly kind, smart, beautiful and intelligent. She is truly on her way to being a leader among her friends and those who come in contact with her throughout life. I love her so so much and I could not be more proud of her. Jordan is truly going to change the world with her empathetic heart and next level intelligence. What a blessing it is to be her mother and get a front row seat to watch it in real time. Congratulations on moving onto 2nd grade Jordyn Denise. Jordyn is a 2nd grader!

I’m very proud of you and Kris in how you’ve raised, nurtured and educated Jordyn, Riley too but this is about Jordyn.
I enjoyed reading and seeing the accomplishment she has made so far, and I’m very excited to see what the future brings.
As I’ve said to you guys before, talking to friends and coworkers about y’all give me goosebumps. Once again I’m very proud and love you guys.
Aww thank you BFF! We truly appreciate the love and kind words. Helps us know we’re doing something right. We love you too! 🤎
