Yes, Thursday Thursday and cinco de Mayo fall on the same day. Can you say celebration? Bring on the margaritas, tacos, chips, salsa, and everything else in between!

For those of you wondering what Cinco de Mayo is here is the one line definition per Wikipedia: “an annual celebration held on May 5, which commemorates the anniversary of Mexico’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.” However, it has gotten more popular in recent years here in America. If you know me then you know Mexican food is one of my favorite cuisines. But let’s be real- who doesn’t love Mexican food? In addition to loving Mexican food I also REALLY enjoy margaritas. Whether it’s on the rocks or frozen I enjoy a delicious margarita anytime or day of the week. I may sound a little crazy but it is what it is LOL.

If you haven’t noticed a trend by now I like to make my own simple syrup recipes. This Grapefruit Margarita isn’t any different. You can find the recipe for the Grapefruit Simple Syrup by clicking the name. Now- let’s go ahead and get started on our Grapefruit Margarita.
