February Goals Accomplished!

Last month I barely completed all of my monthly goals, but all that matters is, I did! Lol. You guys know how this goes from last month’s goal summary so… here are the details of my February goals:

Date Night:

The husband and I went to see Deadpool and we LOVED it! We are looking forward to all of the Marvel movies coming out this year :-).

New Recipe:

I found a recipe for lasagna soup on Pinterest a while back and finally decided to give it a try. We all loved it!

DIY Project/Jordyn Activity:

I counted Jordyn’s activity as my DIY this month because it was more work for me than it was for her LOL. “We” made a canvas painting for Kris for Valentine’s Day and he loved it.

Twitter Chat:

This month’s topic was a chat about anxiety and was very informing. I’m looking forward to next month’s chat topic of “faith”.

Natural Hair Style:

I ordered some flex-rods on Amazon.com and decided to give them a try. I LOVE THE WAY MY HAIR CAME OUT. I can’t wait to use them again!

Periscope Cooking Broadcast:

I shared my easy and tasty easy chili mac & cheese recipe with the Periscope world. Hopefully those who tried it loved it!

Nail Color:

I went with the simple and classic black nails last month in honor of Black History Month.

New Book:

Also in honor of Black History Month I re-read The Autobiography of Malcolm X and I’m so happy I did. I encourage everyone to read it!

Workout Reward:

I reached my goal of 20 workout days in February and rewarded myself with a sweatshirt from theculturedsavage.com.

For my random act of kindness, it was actually an act within an act. We went to lunch Valentine’s Day weekend and the sweetest couple we met while waiting in line for our food paid for our meal. In return, we bought them a bottle of wine to enjoy that weekend. I’m still smiling from this encounter! 🙂

For my gift to Kris, I kept it simple this month, and bought him a big case of Angry Orchards. He was quite happy about it. It really is the little things! Haha.
