If you read yesterday’s blog post and thought “there has to be a recipe to use with this blueberry simple syrup” then you are correct! If you’ve never had a French 75 drink think of it as a mimosa with a stronger twist. However, I guarantee you’ve never tasted a Blueberry Lemon French 75 and you need one…now. The fresh blueberry simple syrup adds the perfect extra layer of flavor in this drink.

I found these awesome drink-ware glasses at Tuesday Morning a few weeks ago and knew they would be perfect for this recipe. The larger body of the glass means even more delicious blueberry lemon French 75 to drink in one sitting. And more drink is always a good thing, right? The fresh blueberry simple syrup and fresh squeezed lemon juice are truly the stars of this recipe. Fresh will always be better and it proves itself in each sip of this delicious drink. The standard French 75 recipe uses gin, but I’m not a big gin fan so I switched it with a citrus flavored vodka.

I created a little step by step video on how to make this blueberry lemon French 75 recipe. It’s extremely easy to make even with the added steps of making your own simple syrup and fresh lemon juice. Be on the lookout for a “how to” make your own lemon peel garnish as well! Let’s go ahead and get started on this tasty recipe!
