April showers bring May flowers, right? Well why not show the inside of your home some attention while it showers outside? April is for sure a rainy season down here in Louisiana which means we’re still spending a lot of time indoors. When you add in the layer of a pandemic still going on it means double the time indoors. The last few weeks I have shared some transformation Tuesday inspiration on the blog. From our front door entry way to our girls playroom, spring is in full effect over here. I created this 5 spring and summer home inspo ideas guide to share and spark inspiration for those who need it!
Spice Cabinet Organization:
This is a project I started at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. It’s still one of my favorite to this day. Especially since I use my spice cabinet very often. There’s a visually pleasing and sense of accomplishment aesthetic I feel every time I open my spice cabinets. This was also one of my cheaper house projects. I share this first of my 5 spring and summer home inspo ideas because of the price tag. You can find all of the details for this project by clicking here or clicking the title at the beginning.
Bathroom Decor Ideas:
Have you ever heard anyone say plants make everything better? As a newbie to the plant owner game I have to agree with this opinion. This is one of my secrets to brightening up any bathroom. Especially a bathroom that may not have windows. There is something about the greenery from a plant and the peaceful calm of a candle that can visually transform your bathroom. Entry Way Makeover:
Your entry way is the first part of your home guests will see. More importantly, it’s the first place you will walk into when entering your home. This means it should feel warm and welcoming. Part of the positive feeling I get when walking through my front door entry way is seeing the organization. I love when everything has a place. Even more so when the colors are aesthetically pleasing. You can click here to read more details on this entry way makeover.
Kitchen Decor & Details:
This project is the definition of a little goes a long way. For those of us living in rented spaces where we’re limited to what we can and can’t do, we have to get creative. There’s nothing some curtains and a few signs can’t fix to make a kitchen feel more like home. As you all can imagine, being a majority food blogger, means I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. The new decor makes it more fun! Check out the details here!
Kids Playroom Makeover:
One of my favorite parts of our current home on base is having two living room areas. I’m assuming one is supposed to be a dining room of some sort, but we decided to use the space for our girls playroom. They have SO many toys and this allows them to have a space of their own. They especially love the tv and beanbag set up for movie nights and popcorn. Head on over to the blog for the full story of how this room came together by clicking here.
