Honey Garlic Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • Dried or Fresh Parsley *to garnish

Instructions

  1. Place your filet of salmon in a gallon sized ziploc bag. (Keep the skin on the fish the fish will easily separate once cooked) Pour your soy sauce, honey, and minced garlic evenly on top of the fish. 

  2. Make sure there isn't much air in the ziploc bag, close it, slightly massage the ingredients into the fish, and place the bag in the fridge (flesh side down in the marinade) for at least at hour. You can marinade overnight if you prefer. 

  3. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. 

  4. Line a baking dish with parchment paper or aluminum oil. Place your salmon filet in the center of the dish. 

  5. Pour the remaining marinade in the ziploc bag evenly over the salmon. Feel free to drizzle a little more honey (and garlic) on top of the fish if you'd like.

  6. Place in the oven for 30 minutes (uncovered). Check on your fish at the 20 minute mark to be sure it's cooking evenly. If not, you can turn your baking dish to even the cooking. 

  7. When your fish is done, take it out of the oven, and let sit to cool for 5 minutes. 

  8. Sprinkle your parsley over the salmon and enjoy!
