DIY Kids Canvas Art

I’ve been rearranging and remodeling the girls playroom area in the extra living room area. I’ll explain more and show more details once it’s complete. I can’t wait for the reveal! In the meantime, I’ve been working on ways to add original decor to the playroom. I have added a few cute little signs but I wanted the decor to be a direct reflection of the girls. This is when I came to the conclusion to hang the DIY kids canvas art they’ve already made, and create some new ones.

There really isn’t anything difficult regarding this project other than making sure all proper precautions were taken. I covered the table they painted on with a large garbage bag. I covered the floor under the table and chairs with newspaper. I put their “arts and crafts” shirts on them which is code for shirts I don’t mind them destroying. And I controlled the amount of paint I distributed to each of them for limited mess.

I’m naturally an artsy and crafty person. So getting my babies to do them with me is always so much fun. Since we’re still in the midst of social distancing ourselves this is a perfect craft to do with your kiddos to keep them busy. You can even pick particular paint colors for certain holidays. Either way, just have fun and decorate your home with beautiful and original diy kids canvas art!
