Cinnamon Caramel Apple Cider

October 6, 2016 Leave a Comment

It’s thirsty Thursday y’all! This only means one thing: I need to share a boozy fall themed homemade drink with everyone. This drink has been on my mind for a few months now, and I was super excited to try it out, and it taste delicious. As you all know by know, or don’t know if you’re new(er) here, I am OBSESSED with fall. This drink is a perfect representation of everything fall and it can even be warmed up for those colder days and nights coming up.

It’s a little  a lot on the sweet side, but you can easily tone down the sweetness by adding half a glass of dry wine to your half glass of Cinnamon Caramel Apple Cider, or you can omit one cup cider, and replace it with a cup of wine. I would personally recommend a Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio wine to add. Here is what you will need to make this delicious drink:

Prep Time: 10 | Prepare Time: 1 hour 10 mins | Serves: 6-8

1 cup Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey

1 bottle Redds Apple Ale

3 cups Apple Cider

1/4 cup Caramel flavoring

2 Red Gala apples (cubed)

1 lemon sliced

Step 1:

After you’ve cubed your apples, throw them into your pitcher. Add your cup of Fireball to the apples, cover, and let it chill in the refrigerator for an hour.

Step 2:

Uncover your apple and whiskey mixture. Throw your sliced lemons in along with your bottle of Redds apple ale. Give it a quick mix then add all three cups of apple cider to the mixture. If you are adding wine in place of a cup of cider, you will add the wine directly after you’ve added the cider.

Step 3:

Stir in your caramel flavoring until it is mixed in well. Chill in the mixture in the fridge for another 30 minutes to an hour.

Now you have yourself a deliciously spiked, cinnamon caramel apple cider to drink over the next few days all to yourself, or to share with those around you. I won’t judge you either way because this entire pitcher was made for myself LOL. Let me know how you like the drink and post a picture of yours in the comment section below!
